INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup raw or organic sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs lightly beaten
4 small ripe bananas mashed
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl cream together butter, applesauce and sugars. Add in eggs and mashed bananas. Stir well.
Sift together flour, baking soda, <g class="gr_ gr_116 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim gr_inline_cards Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="116" data-gr-id="116">salt</g> and cinnamon. Stir into creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Mix well but don't overmix. Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour into greased and floured standard sized loaf pan 9 in x 5 in or line loaf pan with parchment paper, grease parchment. (This allows for easiest removal from pan.)
Bake for 50- 60 minutes or until <g class="gr_ gr_130 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim gr_inline_cards Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" id="130" data-gr-id="130">toothpick</g> inserted comes out clean. Place pan on wire rack. Let cool for 15 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack to finish cooling.
